Adiós amigos Our comments: This CD, together with the Diez Deditos song book, is one of our favorite items at Bilingual Journey. It is the single best resource we know to learn songs that can be used to interact with your child, from birth to approximately 8 years. The voice is clear and stands out from the music so all the words can be easily understood by a child or a parent with rusty or limited Spanish. The book, which truly is necessary to get the most out of this collection, is bilingual and explains with pictures and words how to act out the songs and games. It also provides a brief history of the songs. Some of the games and rhymes can be used as tickle games with very young infants, while others will have older children participating by acting out the songs with the adult. This is perfect for schools teaching Spanish to native and non-native speaking children, teachers, native Spanish-speaking parents, as well as those parents with limited Spanish who are trying to teach their children. |
