Our Comments: Easy Spanish Crossword Puzzles is one of a number of resources that, used in combination, can help you teach your child to read and write in Spanish. Given the fact that most of us parents of bilingual children will need to do this without the support of the school system, we need all the resources available. This book is nice because it is fun for the child as an introduction to crossword puzzles, and it encourages the child to sound out the words and spell them correctly. Initially, the child can simply provide the first letter to “help” the parent, later on this can be used completely independently by the child to reinforce vocabulary, spelling and writing skills. In addition, it is a book that is very useful to Spanish learners to learn and reinforce vocabulary and writing skills. |
