Our comments: While this series of books are essentially fact-filled reference books, they are very appealing to adults and children. They have colorful photographs and illustrations, and there is just enough interesting information to be able to read the whole book to an attentive 3-year old as well as to older children. Grandes camiones is a wonderful book to teach young children about large trucks, and the games and stories help to ensure that the knowledge will be retained. This book provides the vocabulary in Spanish to be able to really discuss this topic in detail with our children. |
