What are Bilingual Journey’s shipping and delivery policies?

Our shipping costs are $8.95 for all orders in the contiguous 48 states, and will be sent by FedEx Ground, unless requested otherwise. Orders to Puerto Rico will be sent via the United States Postal Office. If you prefer another shipping method, or are in a rush to receive your purchase, e-mail us at info@bilingualjourney.com before placing your order and we will gladly quote it for you.

Most orders will be shipped within 2-3 business days of receiving your order. Orders are shipped Fedex Ground and it usually takes 5-10 business days for packages to arrive after we ship them. If you need your order by a certian date please contact us. Although some of our merchandise might be out of stock, we are constantly receiving new merchandise so check back often to see if something you like is back in-stock. If you have any questions regarding product availability, please send us an e-mail before placing your order.

At this time, we are only shipping products in the US and Canada. If you would like us to ship the material outside of the United States, please contact us, we might be able to make some arrangements.

What is Bilingual Journey's Return Policy?

We will gladly accept return or exchanges on all products within 30 days of receipt. Books and activity books must not be used and must be in original condition. Music and software may not be returned unless defective. No manufacturer-sealed products may be returned once they are opened (including music, software, videos, games, puzzles, etc.), unless the product is defective. If the product is defective, it can only be exchanged for the same title. Return-shipping charges will not be returned unless the product is defective.

If you need to return a product please e-mail us at info@bilingualjourney.com to obtain an RMA number. Please include in your message your name, reason for the return and if you want a refund or an exchange. No returns can be processed without an RMA number.

What if I cannot find what I am looking for?

If you have a product in mind and cannot find it in our catalog, e-mail us with your idea: we may be able to get it for you. If you have any questions or product inquiry, please send us an email. We can also help us with recommendations for different age ranges as well as Spanish levels.

What is Bilingual Journey?

Bilingual Journey was created by two professional stay-at-home moms who were unable to locate quality educational materials in Spanish to raise their bilingual children. Bilingual Journey is the result of their efforts to make these products available to all bilingual families.

Where does Bilingual Journey acquire their products?

We currently obtain our products from seven different countries. Some of our material is manufactured locally in the United States, while the rest is imported from Canada, Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Puerto Rico and Venezuela.

How does Bilingual Journey select the products they offer?

Our goal is to offer only the highest quality educational products at a reasonable price. Before adding a product to our website we evaluate it very carefully and often test it with focus groups of families. The products are judged for their language content, educational potential, durability, and cost in relation to value. Many of the products were evaluated by a certified bilingual speech-language therapist; with her experience both as a parent, linguist, and extensive training and experience with language and cognitive development.

Can I still buy from Bilingual Journey if I don't want to use my credit card?

You can send us a personal check or a money order. We will wait for personal checks to clear before shipping the merchandise. Please make sure you give us a phone number or e-mail address so we can contact you in case there is any problem. Mail your payment with the list of products you want to:

Can I pay with a purchase order?

Bilingual Journey honors all purchase orders from institutions, schools and libraries in official forms. You can mail, fax or e-mail your purchase order. Please see the Company information above for addresses and phone numbers.
