The 108 words are to assist in teaching a child to read, and are considered “sight words”. Our Comments: If you are trying to teach your child to read in Spanish, these cards can be very helpful. The parental suggestions include some good ideas on how to use the cards while keeping the learning process entertaining. And the cards include many words with only 1 or 2 letters, so they can be used to teach phonics as well, which has been demonstrated to be far more helpful in reading than sight reading has. |
