Description: Mexico’s Centro de estimulación y desarrollo infantil is a center dedicated to the stimulation of emotional and cognitive development in early childhood through music and other activities, but they also produce their own videos and music. In these videos and music, Trepsi is a clown that sings most of the songs, along with children. The upbeat songs are a combination of mostly original and some traditional Hispanic music, with easy-to-learn lyrics that encourage movement and interaction between parent and child.

Our comments: There is a fair amount of Spanish-language music available for children, but few CDs are as fun and involving as those from Trepsi. The songs are cheerful with catchy melodies, but best of all the lyrics are perfect to adapt to games between children and adults that can be used for teaching Spanish in the classroom (listen to Caminar or El señor pez), or for interactive games between parent and child (listen to ¿A dónde?). These CDs receive very high recommendations from Bilingual Journey.
