Our comments: The Usborne First Thousand Words in Spanish is an excellent dictionary for 2 to 12 year old Spanish speakers and learners. Because of the detail of this dictionary, almost anybody can learn something. It also includes search-games (for example, there is a duck hidden in every page), and guidance on pronunciation and grammar. This is an excellent reference book for parents, as well, who may find they don’t remember, or never knew, the words for certain objects or concepts, but who would like to teach their child the correct term in Spanish. What is great about the new edition is that you can actually go on a web site and listen to a native Spanish speaker to learn how to pronunce every Spanish word in this book. Out of Stock. |
